Please note, on Sunday December 28, 2025, there will be no live on campus services as we observe an ALL-Church Sabbath Sunday. What is All-Church Sabbath Sunday and why is it important? We are glad you asked.
First, Sabbath Sunday allows us to take the last Sunday of the year to both honor and say thank you to our church leaders, staff, and serve teams for all their love and service to Cityline Church. And two, Sabbath Sunday is an opportunity to allow for an intentional time together as a church community to prioritize and engage the practices of presence and rest. It is a collective time of recharge, renewal and reconnection as we prepare and look ahead with great expectation for 2026.
As we continue to apprentice under Jesus and lean into healthy rhythms and practices that open us up to the work of God in our lives, we understand that rest is essential to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Sabbath Sunday is not a day off, nor is it a day to catch up on your to do list or holiday cleaning, Sabbath Sunday is choosing meaningful rest that reminds us that we are meant to live dependent on the God who never gets tired, overwhelmed or weary. We encourage you on December 28th to choose to rest, to spend time with friends or family sharing a meal and good conversation, to spend time with God allowing him to remind you of who you are, to rejuvenate your mind and refuel your soul.
Please note, all live, on campus services will resume January 4th as we kick off 2026 together!

Need some ideas for Sunday Sabbath? Here are a few.
- Do a social media fast. Commit to fasting from your social media apps for 24 hours.
- Take time to Journal. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you reflect on or examen 2025. Where has God shown up in the last 12 months, what is God teaching you?
- Go for a walk. Go for a walk, pray as you walk, ask God what his goals are for you in 2026
- Read. Engage the Bible. Pick a chapter and read, observe and write down what sticks out. Read book that is life giving, not time wasting.
- Sleep. Sometimes the thing you need most is to physically take a nap or two.
Ways to live generously this Christmas season

As winter approaches, we are collecting jeans, jackets, blankets and other warm clothes for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. The collection will run from November 9th until our tree lighting ceremony. You can drop off your donations at that patio on sundays before or after our 9am & 11am services!

Each Christmas, Cityline Church comes together for Heart for the House—a special offering that goes above and beyond our regular giving to help advance the mission of Jesus through our local church. Over the years, your generosity has made a lasting impact through our partnerships with organizations like Olive Crest, Kingdom Causes, and the Cityline Cares Initiative, meeting real needs in our community and beyond. This year, as we celebrate all that God has done and look ahead to our 10th year anniversary, our Heart for the House offering will help strengthen Cityline through essential building repairs, upgraded ministry spaces, and added staff support. We invite you to prayerfully consider being part of what God is doing by giving toward this year’s Heart for the House Christmas Offering. To give, click the button below and select "Heart for the House". Thank you!
