Cityline Kids is on mission and we’re excited to bring VBS (Vacation Bible School) back to our neighborhoods! Mark your calendars and make plans to join us at one of our Neighborhood VBS sites from June 22 – June 26 from 6:30p-8p, and don't miss Fam Jam on Campus on the 26th
Cooking is more than just mixing stuff together—it takes time, creativity, care, and knowing what each ingredient brings to the table. The same is true when it comes to growing our faith! In this 4-day series, kids get to put on their aprons and discover how to practice spiritual habits that bring them closer to God. Through Old Testament stories like those of Jacob, Moses, and Deborah, our young chefs will realize that God always makes time for us, God gave us gifts that make a difference, God makes us stronger together, and we make God known when we share our story.
BIG IDEAS & BIBLE STORIES
Each day brings an opportunity for kids Pre-K thru 5th grade to have fun learning about the love of Jesus. We will be inviting not only our Cityline Kids but entire neighborhoods!
We are excited to see how God will work in our communities. To learn more about neighborhood VBS, please email citylinekids@citylineonline.org.

Ways to Get Involved
There are three primary ways to support Neighborhood VBS:
- Prayer: Commit to praying for the host homes, the serve team, and specifically the hearts of the children attending.
- Serve Team: Overview of the roles available (Storytellers, Worship, Games, Crafts, Small Groups, and Student Helpers).
- Wishlist: We are collecting basic supplies, snacks, and water. Download the wishlist here and drop your donations off any given Sunday or at the church offices before June 17th.
- Giving: Monetary donations can be made directly via citylineonline.org to help offset the cost of curriculum and supplies.

Serve Team Opportunities
Neighborhood VBS is not possible without YOU. Here are the different roles you can fill as we go into the neighborhoods to help kids discover and follow Jesus!!!
- VBS Host Home - Open your yard or patio to serve as the local hub for the week. You provide the space and basic amenities while we bring the program to your doorstep.
- Storyteller - Bring the Bible to life by sharing the daily lessons in an engaging, creative way. You’ll help kids connect personally with the message of Jesus through narrative and props.
- Worship Leader - Lead the high-energy musical portion of the day with singing and motions. Your role is to set the atmosphere and encourage every child to participate in celebrating Jesus.
- Games Leader - Organize and facilitate fun, active outdoor activities that build community and burn off energy. You’ll ensure everyone plays safely and follows the rules of the game.
- Crafts Guide - children through hands-on projects that reinforce the day’s lesson. You’ll help them express their creativity while making something tangible to take home.
- Small Group Leader - Mentor a consistent group of kids by facilitating discussions and helping them navigate the day's schedule. You are the primary point of connection and encouragement for your specific group.
- Student Helper - Assist adult leaders with various tasks, from handing out snacks to helping younger kids with crafts. This is a great role for students looking to serve and gain leadership experience.
